Foster Walk 2017

Events being held during Foster Care Fortnight

Events being held during Foster Care Fortnight

Following the success of our drop-in information sharing event earlier this year we are holding one each week during Foster Care Fortnight:

11th & 19th May at Beau Sejour between 11 & 2 in the Cambridge Room above the Park's Café

The purpose of these events is to provide information about fostering and the public can pop in to pick up information and talk to foster carers and the team.

FOSTER WALK on Sunday 21st May.  We will meet up at Rousse Tower at 10.45 for an 11 am start and will walk from the Tower to Les Amarreurs. The aim of the walk is to show our support for foster care and the fantastic role of foster carers. This was a lovely event last year and lots of people came with their families to support us so please join us again this year, wear bright colours and bring a picnic if you wish to stay at the end for a play on the beach or at the playpark. The Guernsey Foster Care and Adoption Association will bring gifts for the children. Please invite as many as you can to attend, the larger the walk the larger the impact.
